Introduction
No matter what type of party or function you need catering for, we can help you plan and design the menu and supply friendly experienced staff ensuring everybody has a great time. From backyard BBQ's to stand-up finger-food parties and boardroom meetings we offer a great range of foods to tempt everybody at the location of your choice. Thank you for considering us.
Bookings
Tentative Bookings are held for two weeks from the enquiry date. Bookings will only be confirmed with payment of a deposit which is $100 or 10% of the total bill whichever is greater. More than 3 months before the function a deposit is refundable, minus $100 administration fee. If the function is changed to an alternative available date, prior 3 months to the function, the entire deposit transferable.
Quotes
Quotes are given based on food prices and award staff wage rates at the time. All hire costs are calculated according to the hire company's prices, and change accordingly.
Payment
Complete payment for the total menu, all hire equipment and estimated staff costs is to be made no later than
the day of the function. If payment can be made prior to the day it would be gratefully accepted.
If payment is not met on these conditions the client agrees to accept any costs accrued due to solicitors
and recovery.
Damage and cleaning
A Cut Above Catering accepts normal cleaning during and after a function. If there is any excessive cleaning
required it will be at the cost of the client.
Minimum cost
For all fully catered functions there is a minimum set food bill. For sit down meals a minimum of $1000 applies.
For standup finger-food events $600 applies.
Staffing
We can provide you with skilled friendly staff ranging from cooks, food waiters to bar staff. We pride ourselves
on giving you the time to relax and enjoy the company of your guests.
We will do the rest! That's our promise. We work in the location of your choice, be it your private home,
or a hired hall. If you would like us to consult and guide you so that your next event goes smoothly we provide
this service as well.
Beverages
We can provide fresh coffee and tea facilities, spring water, fresh juices as well as serving the alcohol you provide.
We use friendly professional drinks attendants who always clean before they leave.
Staff pricing
For all on-site catering where kitchen staff are reuqired a fee of $25 per staff member per hour is charged
(approx. 3 - 4 hours).
PLEASE NOTE: some packages include staff wages where required.
Floor staff (includes food and beverage servers) are charged out to the client at a cost of $35 per hour for the duration
of the function. Light cleaning duties are performed.
Equipment hire
For all equipment hire we us the Australian Hiring Company.
